Jesus by all accounts taken was a very humble man. He walked the earth teaching us that all men are equal, but not all faiths are.
His followers and believers exalted him, and the Pharisees beat him and humbled him. They turned a strong man into a broken man. This is how the world humbles a man that stands for goodness, He's led to carry his own cross.
Does the world judge us by our words and deeds? Or do they judge us by what others' say about us?
What is it that leads a man or woman to carry their own cross? Is it because the world believes that we shouldn't be exalted that we should be humbled:
The Nazi Germans humbled the Jews by throwing them in deadly concentration camps and taking away all their worth.
The same man that humbled Hungary and Poland and stole their worth is now in America tearing down historical monuments that leave a representation of our history and faith of how far we have come as a nation.
Will America now a country that was exalted by the world, be left a broken country carrying their cross to the broken abandoned shores and looted stores.
Oh, God, my Lord, I exalt thee! I eaxlt thee, Oh, Lord, I exalt thee! I exalt thee, oh, Lord!
When the world turned away from you and led you to carry your own cross, and still there were those that said. I exalt thee, Oh, my Lord!
We must never forget the past and what the cross stood for or how far we have come!
In the end, it will be those that exalt themselves for world power and domination that will be humbled!
