I had one psychologist call these kids, trust bandits. They get you to trust them then they steal you blind.
This isn’t an easy generation to redirect because many are set in their ways. While mom or dad was high on drugs for days they learned to fend for themselves. I had a psychologist tell me that he has seen cases where drug addicts would go out to party and nail pork-chops to the bedroom wall and lock all their kids up in a bedroom so they could go out partying. The kids would be locked up all weekend long. We had kids tell us where frozen food was slid under their door. They were forced to eat frozen corndogs or burnt toast. While some of these kids are so tight lipped about what happened to them, and developed stomach ulcers. These are the kids of meth addicts. These are the kids of the lost generation…
I believe that when Jesus calls the church the body of Christ that we are His hands and feet to go and do what other people won’t do…
I believe that’s why churches are dying today is because they’re not being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ.
I remember reading in Exodus 4: That God became so angry at Moses at one point that He wanted to kill him, because I think He was fed up because Moses was being so stubborn and didn’t want to do what God had called him to do.
Exodus 4: 24
And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the Lord met him, and sought to kill him.
1Corinthians 12: 27
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.
29Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all workers of miracles?
Romans 12: 5
So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
