Mark 9: 42
But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone hung around your neck.
If we’re going to work on saving the Lost Generation we have to look past what they have lived and been through, but look at God’s promises for their lives. To deny one of these kids God’s purest love, and compassion is to deny Christ and the Father that sent Him. Jesus didn’t hang out with the Pharisees. Or the keepers of the laws, but, He went to the sinner offering the gift of salvation, the forgiveness of sins. Jesus’ teaching was to teach us to get out of our own comfort zones, and walk where men normally wouldn’t walk, but where God had sent them. Jesus didn’t heal the keepers of the law, but healed those that were unaware of the laws. To deny one of these kids God’s love and acceptance is to deny Christ. Because the message you’re sending is that God doesn’t accept you. You’re not pure enough. You’re a threat to my comfort zone. If you feel this way then you aren’t walking in love, but condemnation…And. If this is so you’re saying Jesus Christ died on that cross in vain, because He can’t save the world…You’re also saying if you were born into sin, you’re condemned to sin. You’re saying that you’re not worth saving.
And you’re not being led by the Holy Spirit.
