27Can we boast, then, that we have done anything to be accepted by God? No, because our acquittal is not based on obeying the law. It is based on faith. 28So we are made right with God through faith and not by obeying the law.
29After all, is God the God of the Jews only? Isn’t he also the God of the Gentiles? Of course he is. 30There is only one God, and he makes people right with himself only by faith, whether they are Jews or Gentiles. 31Well then, if we emphasize faith, does this mean that we can forget about the law? Of course not! In fact, only when we have faith do we truly fulfill the law.
"God has shown us that we’re weak people walking in the flesh, and too weak to follow the law given to Moses. For we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. The only way God could save our souls was by sending a savior that would take all the sin of the world upon himself taking all that sin and nailing it to the cross. Jesus’ death on the cross crucified sin, so we as sinners could go to the Son and ask for forgiveness, and he could forgive us for not keeping to the law. The cross became a huge magnet collecting all the sin. It wasn’t put in place to condemn the sinner, but through the cross the sinner would find repentance. The sinner would find help through the Holy Spirit to overcome their weaknesses so they could be obedient to the law and live a life pleasing to the Lord."
Proverbs 19:16 Keep the commandments and keep your life;despising them leads
Romans 4:25 He was handed over to die because of our sins, and he was raised to life to make us right with God.
Romans 6:6 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. 7 For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. 8And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him.
