They don’t see themselves as being wrong but the Christians of the world that won’t conform to popular beliefs.
They don’t realize that God set rules and boundaries to prevent us from being hurt in life. It was his protective boundaries. God wanted us to live a blessed life but because of the strong influence of sin on the earth. We turned from God and to the pleasures of the world.
God knew the influence was too strong so he sent his Son to be the human sacrifice that we may overcome the sinful nature of the world, and the only way we can do that is by having the Holy Spirit in us and staying transformed by the renewing of our minds.
I remember when I was saved. I had crossed some of those boundaries through sin and as God was renewing my mind transforming me, he placed spiritual boundaries where my mind could no longer cross. They were boundaries set for my own protection wiping out the past pains and hurts. It was as if a lighted cross was set in the deepest darkest corners of my mind and these were the boundaries set.
The world doesn’t seem to realize if we cross certain boundaries there’s no coming back spiritually or mentally and sometimes physically, you become captive to the enemy, Satan.
Romans 1:28 Futhermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what not to be done.
God doesn't want us being a slave to sin or Satan. God's trying to protect us all from Satan, but it’s pretty hard when a lot of people see that way of life as glamorous not realizing they’re headed down the road to death and rot.
When you experience a life living with the Holy Spirit you don’t want to turn back or in some cases even look back. But you want to stay transformed by the renewing of your mind and not give the enemy a chance to enter into it. Because the mind is the first thing the enemy attacks. Paul is also telling us by staying transformed and renewed we will find the perfect will of God for our lifes’.
1 Timothy 1:19 Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked.
2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.
I pray today for the renewing of minds to draw closer to God as we let him lift us up higher!
We have to remember we are no longer apart of this world but we have been separated through adoption into equal heirs with Jesus Christ!
Ephesians 1:4 For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.
Praise God! We were chosen!
I don’t believe I belong in this world.
They live in a fantasy world.
I live in a spiritful world.
They believe in themselves.
I believe in the Holy Trinity.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
I shout
And they pout.
I happily go about in my world.
They look and frown.
They always look down.
Because they think this world is it!
I know better, my eyes are on heaven.
I live in my reality world.
I’m waiting for Jesus to return.
They live in a fantasy world waiting for reruns.
They stand in line waiting to buy designer jeans.
I stand in line passing food out to the hungry.
They get so mad when they can’t find their size of jeans.
And get so angry.
I live in my reality world.
I don’t believe I belong in this world.
