Jesus gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit so that we could call upon him in our dire time of need.
The Holy Spirit is our permit to carry or conceal and carry in life. But, why would anyone want to conceal the Holy Spirit? We should allow the Holy Spirit to move in our lives and direct our paths freely. If we have the Holy Spirit at our side who can compare to his omnipresence, his omnipotence, and his omniscience? There is no other comparison. He can be more lethal than any weapon on earth that prepares us for the spiritual battles that we may face on earth.
We as Christians need to realize the strength and power that we are secretly armed with through the Holy Spirit.
I pray today that the Holy Spirit armors you today with the amour that you need to get through your life. No matter what physical or spiritual battle you’re facing on earth.
The Holy Spirit was sent to Jesus to comfort him and for the glory of God to be over him so he could resist all temptation and sins. Even God realized that Jesus needed the Holy Spirit to complete his mission. If we don't have the Holy Spirit implanted inside of us how can we do or accomplish God's will for our lives? The Holy Spirit is our greatest weapon on earth given to us from heaven.
Colossians 1:9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, 10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11 being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
1 Corinthians 2:10 these are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us. 13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for, “Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
