We Were the Sister Club Conceived By Our Brother
I think the one thing that hurt me the most was when my older sister told me that I was never a victim and I should learn to quit playing the victim. She had no idea what we went through! She never had to deal with my brother on the same level as me.
There are so many broken women in the world that have been used and abused by their brothers. That feel ashamed afraid to speak up because of the shame that goes along with it. So they never speak up or out and their voices are never heard.
God did not create us to be used and abused.
Psalm 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. 15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. 16 Your eyes saw my unformed body, all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.
