It takes me back to the beginning of time.
It teaches me the cost of being disobedient to God in time.
It teaches me the meaning of love is serving others through time.
How a young girl leaves her home, country, and family to be transformed through time.
And how another betrays seduces and snatches those in time.
It searches my heart and mind where I’m entwined lost in time.
It tells about our present time and a rejected son that became the birth of a rebellious nation in time.
It all makes sense in our present time.
It tells me where big cities were taken down because of their lustful sinful natures to become a pit of sulfur and salt to be an example of those lost in time.
I see where God’s judgment falls on those that turn on him in time.
I also see where God rewards those that are obedient through time.
I see where a boastful bullying giant is taken down by a young lad who believes it’s his special time.
I see where a proud self-seeking king doesn't want to surrender his time.
And I see where a young brave anointed king is chased through his life in time.
I see how tree limbs stretch out their fingers to catch a greedy proud boastful son that thought he should be king, thinking his good looks and stature were enough to weather through time.
I find myself mystically transformed into another place and time when I read the Old Testament. I'm in another time.
It's the only book that's alive and still transforming lives through time.
